We are delighted to announce the PTA Prefect for the coming academic year is Year 12 student, Amrit Dhillon.

Amrit takes over from Sam Cochrane who has been in the post for the past year. The role of the PTA Prefect is to liaise with School Council and feed up any projects for funding or general improvement to pupil life to the PTA.

The PTA has funded many projects over the years including new head microphones, basketball hoops, gym apparatus, an indoor bowling machine and a new shed for the Junior School garden.

All projects have been funded following fundraising events such as Fireworks Night, Summer Fete and the Spring Market.

Caroline Euston, Chair of the PTA, said: “The PTA would like to thank Sam Cochrane for his hard work and dedication in his role as PTA representative over the past year and welcome incoming PTA representative Amrit.

The role of PTA rep is an important position in capturing the children’s ideas and requests through school council and, where possible, bringing them to life through PTA funding, whilst also playing an active role at events and PTA meetings.”

The next PTA meeting is on Wednesday 15 May at 7.30pm here at School where the summer fete will be on the agenda. Everyone is welcome to attend.
