2019 projects
Following discussions with Gedeli B School, our projects this year have been finalised. Thanks to all of the fundraising activities that have taken place over the past year, and your generous support, our main activity this year is to build and furnish a new classroom.
The new classroom will be fully compliant with the recently updated government standards and will include a tiled floor (previous classrooms we’ve built have had earth floors), a suspended ceiling, electricity, desks and chairs and decoration.
We will also be supplying sanitary towels for the girls. We have done this every year of the Tanzania Project and as a result have seen a substantial drop in absence from the girls and an improvement in their general health.
