Derby Grammar School is supporting YMCA Derbyshire’s young and vulnerable homeless people this Harvest. Our school assembly, which is led by Rev Paul Taylor, takes place on Thursday 3 October in the School Hall.
Are you able to support us and make a difference to a young person this Harvest?
We are collecting:
Toiletries | Cleaning materials | Food | Food | Drink |
Toothbrushes | Kitchen Towels | Tinned Meat | Tinned Puddings | Coffee/Tea |
Toothpaste | Toilet Rolls | Tinned Fish | Tinned Fruit | Sugar |
Shower Gel | Washing Powder | Sandwich Fillings | Rice / Pasta | Squash/Fruit Juice |
Soap | Washing Up Liquid | Tomato / Brown Sauce | Soups | Drinking Chocolate |
Shaving Foam | Dish Cloths/Scourers/Brushes | Tinned Toms/Beans | Biscuits | Long Life Milk |
Female Hygiene | Wash Up Brush | Tinned Veg | Gravy Granules | Powdered Milk |
Miss Sellors will give a prize to the form who brings in the most items! That’s one for each of the Primary and Senior Schools.
The people we support often find themselves with little or no spare money to fund the bare essentials needed in life. We were overwhelmed by your generosity last year; your donations provided people with resources for up to three months. Not only that, our support also lets them know that someone is thinking of them and cares.
Please bring donations, no matter how big or small, to school ready for the Harvest service at 8.40am on Thursday 3 October.
Thank you.
