Miss Stockton joins the Derby Grammar School staff at the start of next term, replacing Mr Critchlow who is off to pastures new.

With over 19 years of professional teaching practice, Miss Stockton is an experienced Head of Geography, Head of Year and Deputy Pastoral Lead. As well as joining us as our new Head of Geography she also takes on the role of Head of Upper School – Years 10 and 11.

Not surprisingly for a geography teacher, she loves to travel – her favourite places (so far) are Zimbabwe and Nepal. Her love of travel has also seen her teaching in the Middle East as well as the UK.

Dr Norris, Head of Derby Grammar School, said: “We are delighted to welcome Miss Stockton onboard. She will bring a high level of experience and professionalism in both her academic and pastoral practice. And importantly, she will fit right in to our School ethos.”
