About the performance
“What A Knight!” brings together a thrilling story, side-splitting script and a score full of contagiously catchy songs performed by our Junior School.
When young squire Watt Cobblers is expelled from Knight School, he reluctantly becomes Merlin’s new apprentice. But trouble is never far away, and soon Camelot Castle collapses into chaos.
Merlin has lost Excalibur, King Arthur’s daughters have been kidnapped and his brave knights have turned into chickens. Watt and his new found friends Dusty Dragon and wayward Princess Alice set off on the biggest quest of their lives. But can our unlikely heroes rescue the princesses, save Excalibur and defeat the evil Black Knight?
The answers are found in this magical production, where our Junior School performers will sing a lot, dance a lot and laugh a lot… at Camelot!
There is no need to book. The performance is free of charge, seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Refreshments are available before the performance and during the interval.
If you have little ones who might not sit quietly through the performance, we would love to see you at our Noisy performance which takes place on the same day at 2.15pm. It’s also our dress rehearsal.
Filming and photographs
We encourage you to capture photographs or film of your child, but we also ask that you use your device with consideration of performers and other members of the audience. Please don’t take pictures of pupils other than your own child, except as part of a group shot, without the permission of that pupil’s parents.
We would also ask that the group images you take are for your personal use only and not uploaded to social media.
