Derby Grammar School PTA run a second-hand uniform shop which offers good quality second hand uniform at very reasonable prices, and at a fraction of the cost of new uniform.
Dates of sales are advertised on the school newsletter.
Selling and donating uniform
For those looking to sell uniform we also run a 50/50 scheme where the profit from uniform sold is split 50/50 between the parent and the PTA.
To sell any items of uniform in this way, please print a 50/50 form, complete the required details on the form and attach the 50/50 label securely to the item of clothing using a safety pin.
Any cheques from 50/50 sales will be totalled and posted to parents once a year in September. If, at the end of October, we have been unable to contact you via school or using the mobile number provided, the amount will be donated back into the PTA.
If you wish to donate items of uniform, we are always very grateful. This reduces administration time and, more importantly, it means that 100% of the money goes towards funding current PTA projects.
Only current, good quality uniform will be accepted.
- Blazers should be sent in with a hanger
- All donations must be washed and ironed
- Any unlabelled items will be deemed to be a donation with the profit wholly given to the PTA.
Any items considered not suitable for re-sale will be recycled.
Where to deliver your second-hand uniform
Please bring donated items or items for sale to the School reception.
