Our school uniform is more than just a uniform – it symbolises community and belonging. We want pupils to feel proud to wear the Derby Grammar School logo because of everything it represents.
The school uniform is an important part of our visual identity and so, we aim to keep items as affordable as possible for all families. The uniform for Derby Grammar School is available to purchase from schoolblazer.com. Once you have registered and selected our school, you will be able to shop a range of garments.
Derby Grammar School PTA run a second-hand uniform shop which offers good quality second hand uniform at very reasonable prices, and at a fraction of the cost of new uniform.
For those looking to sell uniform we also run a 50/50 scheme where the profit from uniform sold is split 50/50 between the parent and the PTA.
To sell any items of uniform in this way, please print a 50/50 form, complete the required details on the form and attach the 50/50 label securely to the item of clothing using a safety pin. Please note that each item of donated clothing must have a form attached to it.
Any cheques from 50/50 sales will be totalled and posted to parents once a year in September. If, at the end of October, we have been unable to contact you via school or using the mobile number provided, the amount will be donated back into the PTA.
If you wish to donate items of uniform, we are always very grateful. This reduces administration time and, more importantly, it means that 100% of the money goes towards funding current PTA projects. Any item of clothing supplied without the relevant completed 50/50 form will be treated as a donation to the PTA.
Only current, good quality uniform will be accepted.
Any items considered not suitable for re-sale will be recycled.
Please bring donated items or items for sale to the School reception.
