Bursaries
The school offers an Assisted Places scheme (bursary) for families who wish to provide their children with a Derby Grammar School education but may struggle to afford the full fees. However, no combination of a Scholarship or Award with an Assisted Place can cover more than 50% of the total fees.
Our bursary scheme serves to support families from a diverse range of backgrounds by making an independent school education more accessible.
We may make bursary awards to pupils who have exceptional academic potential as well as pupils who excel in sport and the arts.
Bursary applications should be completed following registration and in advance of the pupil enrolling at Derby Grammar School. Please also submit other relevant documents that you feel will support your application. Bursaries cannot be awarded after an offer of a place has been made.
