Everyday is an Open Day and there is no better way to experience everything that Derby Grammar School has to offer than to come and see for yourself. Throughout the academic year, we host a variety of different open events to welcome visitors to our stunning grounds and we are always happy to arrange an individual tour during the School day.
All our open days are informal and relaxed which allows visitors to catch a true glimpse into life at Derby Grammar School.

Nursery & Primary School Open Morning - Wednesday 21st May 2025
We're proud to announce that our brand new nursery, Little Oaks Day Nursery, is now open! Places for nursery and primary are filling up fast. Please come along and see our wonderful facilities and see our primary department in action.
We have two tours available on the day: 9am - 10.30am or 11am - 12.30pm

Whole School Open Day including our new Nursery - Sunday 29th June 2025
We're hosting our Whole School Open Day alongside our 30th Anniversary Garden Party. There will be the opportunity to tour our school, meet staff, enjoy our summer garden party and see what it's like to be part of the DGS family.
Food and drinks will be available on the day.
