Open Days and Events

Everyday is an Open Day and there is no better way to experience everything that Derby Grammar School has to offer than to come and see for yourself. Throughout the academic year, we host a variety of different open events to welcome visitors to our stunning grounds and we are always happy to arrange an individual tour during the School day.

Music Tech Taster Afternoon 

Saturday 8th June: 1:30pm - 5pm 

Come and experience Music Tech in our Music Department on a Taster Afternoon, open to years 9 -12. Visitors will be able to experience the Music Tech in our Music Department by booking onto one or more of the 3 planned sessions that are scheduled for the afternoon. There are LIMITED places available, BOOK HERE. 
 

At the end of the day there will be a talk from our Head, who will discuss progression in Music to Higher Education and will also include applying to Music Colleges. 

All School Open Morning

Saturday 15th June: 10am - 1.00pm

We are opening our doors to prospective Derby Grammar School students on Saturday 15th June 10am - 1pm. All areas of the school will be open, from Reception to Sixth Form.  Visitors will have the opportunity to take a tour of our facilities, meet staff and pupils and find out more about our unique family feel environment.

Summer Fair 

Friday 28th June 4pm - 7pm

This Event is organised by our PTA group. This will be a great event to attend as there will be all different types of stalls available to enjoy games, purchase goodies and even have some food and drink in the School grounds.

This is open to all the students and their families plus visitors. Please bring your friends and family along to this fantastic event and let’s hope it is a nice summer’s evening too!
